Bumper Sticker Rant News

Hey all,

I know, I know. Where's the picture? Well the one for today is right below this. So no worries.

So this post is to go over some things that need to be said, and then tomorrow we get back to pictures.

1. Contributors. I still need contributors and email contributions. I would like to specify that I would prefer the bumperstickers be in use (on a car). Those will always be preferred to pictures of those you come across, or sell, on the net. But if that's all you got go ahead and try. Be warned, however, that I try to keep a small slush of stickers from covered cars to use in slow times. So it'll have to be a really bad stretch before I use pictures of stickers that aren't on cars. The reason for this is so we keep the commentary on what one of us has actually seen in the real world.

2. Newsletter. I'd like to be able to use that nifty newsletter function. Yes, my sign up box is a cafepress newsletter box. But I figured a newsletter is a newsletter. If you know of a good free newsletter service you can try and change my mind. For now, that's it. Anyway, sign up. I'll announce contests (if I ever have enough funds to have prizes) via newsletter, not here. So there is one incentive. Another reason to sign up is so that I can make only general announcements here, and can use the newsletter for detailed news and stuff. (Yeah, like this post.) And I won't send stuff too often so don't let that deter you.

3.Support the site. Seriously. I want to have contests. I want to do fun things with this site. But I'm poor. I'm in college and have no money. SO I can't just use my own meager funds to do some of the stuff I'd like to do. Please click on the various links.

3a. Cafepress affiliate- NEW!! Today I signed up to be a cafepress affiliate. What does this mean? It means that if I have my links set up properly I can earn a commission for every sale that I send their way (excluding my own stores of course). So I have the text link on the top that directs toward the bumpersticker portal, and a image on the side that goes to humor. Click those
and buy something.

3b. Cafepress store-Still there, still doing nothing. I know it's not a big community yet. But show your support. And what better way to grow than to have people see the URL and check it out.

3c. Adwords-Top and sidebar banners. I get paid per click, so you don't even have to buy something. At least that's the way I understand it. But this is probably the slowest way to earn any money, since some clicks can be worth as little as a penny.

4. Traffic. Need more of it. I'm gonna try and come up with a way to give out banners to those who want them, but I need to find either another place to store the images or have you all host them yourselves. My geocities account is already screaming at me because I've started to use more bandwidth than it wants me to. So I can't have ya'll link there for the source. In the meantime please blogroll me, or add me to your links. That way more people find out about the rant.

So help me out with this, ok? I really want this to be just a fun place for us all, but I can't do it alone.

lol, this bumpersticker is funny because we do need to fix the little problems beforewe can work on the big ones.

Sorry, this bumpersticker is a little blurry. But once you read it, you'll see that it is great. 

I know... it's Sunday. And I know that the glare makes it hard to read this bumpersticker, but I am playing with the settings of Hello. Anyway, it says that one solution comes up every morning.

As we all consider weekend plans, keep this bumpersticker in mind. 

More funny bumper stickers. Good. I expected to see more political ones, just opposite from the ones I had seen in Santa Fe and funny ones are definately a nice change.  

This bumpersticker made me laugh. The funny thing was,though, that the car wasn't that bad. Small, a little mud, but I've seen way worse.  

I liked this bumpersticker, because at lease voldemort admitted to wanting all of that power. 

Stupid camera flash. Yes... I am back after a few days of trying to get settled. I'll try and get something here every day again, even though it may not always be first thing in the morning like it used to be. Anyway... 2 bumperstickers here today. And let me just say that the freaks need a good chance to help make that future.  

OK, I have to admit that I've never listened myself. SO I really don't know what I'm missing (or not). But I'm sure this bumpersticker can get some interesting comments.

Sorry about the blur. I didn't notice until the car had already left. But I think that it is still readable. And still funny.  

Ok, this is a good one to start off a monday. Faith based missile defense means that we would actually have to behave on the world stage. and for those of you wondering... the bottom sticker says 'what would scooby do?' Stupid flash glare :-) 

ok, This is a good bumper sticker to end the week with. May your weekend be filled with miracles. 

hehe, This bumpersticker is great. I know I sure didn't see any tax breaks, but I know somebody did. 

So I've been holding on to this bumper sticker for a while. I really don't have a definite opinion on it is probably why. I know that he's lied to us, I just don't know if it's enough to warrant a sticker like this. Anyway... debate it until you're sick in the comments.

I liked this bumper sticker because it is so true. We need to bring up turn signal usage rates.

lol... I saw this sticker and laughed. I've also heard of another version where the word 'my' is replaced with 'your' 

I think i've seen this one before, on another style sticker. But since I still think that we are stretched too thin, and in at least one war we don't need to be in... well. Here you go

Got this one a few days ago, but it made me laugh. Laughter is a good way to start a Monday. :-)
